Lectio Divina (Divine Reading)

This ancient practice exists in more than one religion. Traditionally, it is the practice of deep reflection on a phrase or small passage of the Bible. In the practice the text becomes the source of reflection and inspiration. Lectio Divina can be practiced with other inspirational texts – poetry, quotes, books – with the core intention of listening deeply to the message contained within. Get started here.
