Who We Help

Every day, Réseau Compassion Network brings together people inspired to serve Manitobans where the need is greatest.

That’s nearly 8,000 Manitobans working day after day across our family of 13 health, social, and human services agencies. Coming from all faiths, traditions and cultures, we are guided by a spirit of love and compassion. Together, we identify unmet needs in our communities, find solutions and put them into action. This is the work of Réseau Compassion Network.

Responding from the Heart

Through our projects and initiatives and with our network members, Réseau Compassion Network serves Manitoba’s most vulnerable — people who suffer in many different ways, but are often overlooked:

  • People right here in our own communities
  • People who are marginalized and can not be reached by the health and social services system
  • People facing the complex challenges of poverty

Our Work

For many, the number one barrier to a better life is poverty… not just in terms of income, but also in their physical, mental and spiritual well-being. That’s why we lead and support a wide range of programs and services:

  • Low-income housing that is safe, affordable and welcoming
  • Youth hubs that connect young people to a multitude of free, integrated services
  • Transformational projects with Indigenous people in support of reconciliation
  • Long-term care that assists the elderly and those who have been underserved in the past
