We are delighted to share our first full calendar since 2020. We will be rolling out more sessions in the weeks and months to come, so please stay tuned to this space to see what’s next. Now is the perfect time to plan your schedule and make space for yourself. Sessions will be in our beautiful new building at 156 Marion Street with a wonderful training space and lots of parking.
A regular monthly speaker series invites us to learn more about topics like Reconciliation, bringing your spirit to the workplace, and ways our work can address issues of poverty. It’s also a time to meet those who work in the Network and beyond. Another community event will be our Community of Compassion Series. This is a space for people to gather and explore topics of interest, share ideas and resources, and build relationships. The first few will be facilitated and then we hope that topics will emerge naturally from the group. There will be snacks!
All sessions are an invitation to discover where compassion lives in your work and your life, so together we can create conditions for compassion to flourish in our community. The online Short Course in Mindful Self-Compassion will still be available and we’re able to offer the in-person, 8 week Mindful Self-Compassion session as well. If you enjoyed the online version, consider growing your understanding and practice in this fuller learning experience. As well, there are opportunities to connect or reconnect to practice with our weekly online meditation community and the Day of Centreing Retreat. A few new things will come later in the year, so keep checking back or watch for email updates.
Consider this your heartfelt and personal invitation to join us. If you have questions, ideas, suggestions or are just interested to learn more about what we’re doing, I would LOVE to hear from you. Have a safe summer and give yourself a little space just to breathe.
