Sara Riel’s 1-2-1 Peer Outreach provides community connections.
Réseau Compassion Network is responsible for a family of 13 health, social and human services agencies and one of our network members is looking for volunteers to engage with people in need.
Sara Riel provides community-based supports to people living with mental illness or mental health challenges, including substance use disorders leading to addictions. Its team values compassion, respect, and recovery, while helping people reach their full potential mentally, physically, socially and spiritually.
Sara Riel’s 1-2-1 Peer Outreach offers important support and connection through a team of volunteers that go out into the community, accompanying individuals, conducting safe, supportive public visits that provide a break for those coping with loneliness.
Whatever the reason, whether it be depression, anxiety or isolation, the goal is to create a chance to “get back out there” and re-establish a much-needed community connection for participants.
To become a 1-2-1 Peer Outreach volunteer and help individuals re-engage with the community, or to simply find out more about the program, go to 1-2-1 Peer Outreach | Sara Riel.

Réseau Compassion Network, and its network organizations, are proud to be part of the community in which we work. We believe we can have a meaningful impact in people’s lives.
