This is an invitation to join us in a discussion around how we Care for the Earth in organizations that have a substantial environmental footprint. Our speaker, Laurie Thomas, Senior Clinical Program Director, will share how Unity Health in Toronto has committed to identifying and acting on meaningful changes to respond to calls for action related to climate change.
The changes that have been made at Unity Health are not strictly applicable to a healthcare environment and can be valuable for many organizations and industries. This presentation will look at ways we can demonstrate commitment to our mission and values, a belief that we demonstrate our priorities with how we allocate our resources. Ms. Thomas is passionate about this work and will share specific examples of how to get started, impacts to consider and how to expand your reach once the work begins to take root. There will be time to ask questions during the session.
