Cultivating Hope at Actionmarguerite

31 October, 2024 | Actionmarguerite

A new capital campaign at Actionmarguerite has launched with great fanfare and success!

Cultivating Hope, led by volunteer co-chairs Diane and Francis LaBossière, is a plan to refresh the courtyard used by residents, families and friends. At the official launch of the campaign, Dr. Prav Mehta, who has been the Medical Officer at Actionmarguerite for 40 years, made a contribution of $250,000 on behalf of he and his wife. “I have been so welcomed here, even though I don’t speak French,” he shared with a laugh. His donation is a reflection of the care and compassion he has witnessed and been a part of throughout his time at Actionmarguerite.

Réseau Compassion Network was also happy to contribute $100,000 to the campaign, as we believe that the quality of life of those cared for in our network matters most of all.

To make a donation or get involved, we encourage you to visit the Cultivating Hope website.
