Making an Impact

Réseau Compassion Network is alleviating suffering in Manitoba communities through tangible, compassionate action.

When people are in need, they need real action. They need to be heard. They need compassion. This is why we offer help and hope to society’s most vulnerable. Together with our network of 13 health, social, and human service agencies and their volunteers – representing over 8,000 fellow Manitobans of all faiths, traditions and cultures – Réseau Compassion Network is making a difference in the lives of those who come through our doors.

Taking Action

Addressing societal issues honours the mission our pioneering founders entrusted to us 25 years ago. So we’re bringing to life various projects and initiatives that help our communities:

  • Clan Mothers Healing Village, which will bring medium- and long-term support to women and members of the Indigenous 2SLGBTQQIA community who have suffered multi-generational trauma, sexual violence, exploitation, and human trafficking.
  • Huddle South Central, one of five hubs where Francophone, newcomer, and Indigenous youth can access health counseling, support with addiction, primary care, and other social services.
  • Vitalité santé!, which aims to enhance access to health and social services for Francophones, by facilitating better integration and retention of human resources within the field, ultimately contributing to improvements for our entire health care system.

Getting Involved

Because we are responsible for many prominent Manitoba organizations, we’re always looking for individuals with bright minds and generous souls to assist us in responding to people’s needs from the heart.
